Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day Prayer

Lord, we thank you for the goodness of our people and for the spirit of justice that fills this nation. We thank you for the beauty

and fullness of the land

and the challenge of the cities.

We thank you for our work and

our rest, for one another,

and for our homes. We thank you, Lord: accept our thanksgiving

on this day. We pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thanksgiving break, grab a book!

Thanksgiving break is November 20th to the 24th This is a great opportunity to get cozy and read. I am attaching a list of teachers recommended books for your child for the holidays. Give your child the gift to love reading!

Make good choices

As a Catholic School we want to instill values in our students. During this season we will be teaching our children about the importance to make good choices in life. Talk with your children about this topic and together we can make a big change in our lives making good choices.

School sweaters and jackets

Second Announcement

Teachers make a big effort in teaching the students to save their sweaters inside their backpacks but sometimes children make mistakes. To help your child please mark your child’s sweater inside with big clear letters We recommend a silver sharpie. We have a couple of sharpies to borrow at the office. Embroidering your child’s name or initials is also a good idea. Please,

if you get the wrong sweater at home be honest and return it to school. Thank you!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences are on Nov. 15 to Nov 17. There is not going to be a car line on Nov 13, 14 and 15 so you can have time to walk to the classroom and sign-in for our conference. There is nothing more important in the world than your child so make time to talk to your child’s teacher. November 15 to 17 is noon dismissal and there is going to be extended care for the 3 days.

Next year school jackets

Beginning the 2018-2019 school year, the only jackets that students are going to be allowed to wear at school are the blue ones with the school logo. Take this information in consideration if you are going to buy a jacket. Buy it now big and use it for more than a school year.
