Sixth and Seventh Grade - MR. PALACIOS
Sixth and Seventh Grade Experience
Sixth and seventh grade students are technologically savvy, versed in using technology in and out of the classroom. Our students use their iPads to conduct research for projects, read assignments, create videos, take pictures, and turn in work. In fact, our Junior High is almost entirely paper free. Our students live out our Catholic values through school-wide Christian Service Projects. Visitors are encouraged to come and see what sets St. Catherine of Siena School's Junior High apart.
Meet Mr. Palacios
Hello! My name is Ramon Palacios, and I teach junior high mathematics, history, and writing at St. Catherine of Siena School. I joined St. Catherine in 2018 and have taught for 12 years. I earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from San Diego State University and a teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. Originally from San Diego, I moved to the Los Angeles area in 2004 with my wife. Prior to St. Catherine, I taught throughout Southern California, but I only recently began teaching in Catholic schools. St. Catherine of Siena is a wonderful place to teach and an even better community to be a part of. I am very happy to call St. Catherine of Siena School my home!
